04 SD 125,000 mile maintenance

So my truck has been way overdue for some much needed maintenance, and i let it go long enough i get to fix it in winter anyways

Parts needed so far:

Ball joints
Alignment
Tires - Dick Cepek FC-II
Shocks

I would appreciate it if anyone has manufactures of these parts they have personally tried and liked and what will work for me. The truck is a daily driver but also gets used on the farm quite hard. I have tires in mind listed.

Also if anyone else has anything i should check or replace, please say so.

I recommend running motorcraft/ford replacement parts if you can, they have a good warranty and build to spec (no fitment issues). tires are your personal pref and depends on what your using the truck for. defenetly shake down the front end completly, make sure all your joints are tight, inspect your front hubs and bearings, make sure your 4x4 lockout hubs can still be switched back and forth and not frozen, brakes obvisouly, check your differentals over good, no seal leaks, might want to change out the fluid as well. check your u-joints front and rear. front axle joints are common in theae trucks at your mileage. that should get you started.
