2 Thumbs up for First Coast Diesel Performance

Just wanted to let everyone on here know that FCDP is a great diesel shop, and it came very highly recommended. I had blown my headgaskets and could not figure out what to do. The guys at FCDP were very helpful and very patient ( i asked alot of questions, and called them alot). I had them go ahead and do the ARP studs and a Full EGR delete, and I believe they rebuilt my oil cooler pump, plus I went ahead and got the SCT programmer. Anyways if anybody is looking to get some work done on there truck please give FCDP a call, it is well worth it!!!!! In case you dont know they are a sponsor on this site. I have never talked to a more klnowledgeable mechanic, they always explained everything to me in great detail and had me come look at some things to explain them even better. Well thanks again to Adam and all the guys at FCDP.

I dont really want to post on here what I paid, but I can say that it was a heck of alot cheaper than a dealer fixing it back with factory parts. Also CASH MONEY talks Definently give these guys a call it is well worth it. Man my stomach hurts I just ate 4,250 skittles

These trucks are not hard to work on, i would not do headgaskets myself (until i blow them). I am not a mechanic but i am anal when it comes to working on things. If a nut or bolt is suppose to be torqued to specific foot pounds then i do it. The Ford dealer wanted some crazy number like 2600 to start on my HPOP SCT fitting, i was amazed at how simple and easy that it turned out to be. Fuel injectors are not a big issue, a couple hours and very few tools needed. I installed the Sinister EGR kit and it was not complicated, it was more of a pain reaching back and down to remove the exhaust and turbo bolts. I suffer from short term memory loss but i think the SCT fitting was about a 12 hour job. I was talking to a Ford tech and he swore he has done so many of them he can get down to the HPOP pump in 30 minutes. While i did not set a worlds record on mine, it is not near as bad as i had figured. Around here where i live there are no good shops like East Coast Diesel to drop your truck off to.
