what about rechecking head studs after instaling them ?

hey what ur oppinion on after 500 or 1000 miles rechecking ur head studs ? arp directions dosent say you should but i was just thinking i know some guys with other trucks who check them

You shouldnt have to. Unless you wanna pull the cab just to check some bolts. ARP is very particular with the Torque specs. The bolts even come with a special additive to either apply to the threads, or put inside the holes in the head to ensure the ft/lbs are exact. It takes all of the impurities out, such as dust, lubricant, microscopic metal shavings. Plus I believe its 245 ft/lbs on the final stage. I think your good.
