Need some help/advice

I've been looking for an F series diesel for some time and i would really like to have a 7.3 because I have read and heard some horror stories about the 6.0. But I have recently come across an 04 Lariat at a really good price... The only problem is it seems to be "puking" coolant from the reservoir but there is no oil in the coolant system. Any ideas on the problem? Any useful general info would be great to, as I am not as familiar with the 6.0. Thanks

Bad EGR cooler or head gaskets will be the most likely. Won't be cheap to repair but if you get it for a right price do an EGR delete and head studs and it should be good.

I've heard that fixing the studs on this truck runs about $2,800 because the cab has to be removed? Is this true?

That seems to be on the low average side.
