intake help

so i just bought a volant intake off a friend who had an 06 F250 diesel. we tried to put it on my 05 Harley F250 and apparently i have no mass airflow sensor on my intake. it has a dummy connector and a tiny whole with a dummy sensor in it. my problem is that the dummy sensor i have is about a quarter the size of what should be the mass air flow sensor on the 06. Why is this and how do i make it work? everything i see says intakes are the same from 03-07.

Go to volant website and checkto see if it is interchangeable .ask the tech what needs to be changed.

i was on the volant website, there is only 1 intake for 03-07
