6.0 Fuel Injectors

Multipart question. For a 06 F350 Superduty (4x4 stock), I'm getting ready to replace the injectors, which will be my first attempt on a diesel truck.

Which OEM part numbers are acceptable for a stock injector overhaul. Part 2 of this question: I have access to a full set of new Ford OEM 8C3Z 9E527 A. Would these be appropriate for my '06? And last, of the multitude of reconditioned injector vendors out there with prices all over the map, would any of you feel comfortable sharing which vendors are good or maybe more important, which ones to stay away from? YOU NEED 4C3Z-9E527-BRM. THESE ARE REMAN INJECTORS FOR LATE 04-07. 03 TRUCKS TAKE A 3C3Z INJECTOR

Thanks for the quick reply. Note that the injectors I was asking about were 8C3Z and your response referenced 3C3Z. I have since been told by a less than knowledgeabe "expert" that the 8C3Z's are for an 08 6.4L but "should" work in my '06 6.0L. Yea....so I'm have trouble with a parts kid that still suffers from zits, has a fuzzy upper lip and has never heard of Paul McCartney knowing which engine these injectors go to much less telling me that they "should" work on my 6.0..... hense I came here looking for input from real experts <sigh>. Thanks again.

Ford prefix 101
3 = 2003 model year

4 = 2004 model year
.....

8 = 2008 model year

9 = 2009 model year

A = 2010 model year

.... and so on.

C3 = Super Duty Truck

C2 = E-Series
