just upgraded from a 7.3L to a 6.0 and was wondering what the best chip/programmer was for a 2005 f350 dually

ive heard good things about alot of tuners, I would say it depends on what your wanting to do with the truck. If your just looking for a few extra ponies for fun id get an Edge, or maybe a BullyDog or somthing like that.

If your looking to tune the truck for compitition (drags, sled pulling, big ponies!) and really want to get into customizing all the different parameters of performance, i would get an SCT.

Ive got an Xcal3 and love it. Theres dozens of different vendors who can build custom tunes for it. Only downside I see with the SCT is theres no "shift on the fly" between tunes. Good luck!

I have a 2005 dully also, I like my edge evolution just fine, gives it a little kick for towin and provides all digital gauges at the same time all in one got it new on e-bay for 250.00 bucks never opened.Scan 4 gauges at once or 3 or 2 or 1 and I think it has either 11 or 12 diferent gauges built in just plugs in to the obd2 port plus egt. It,s fine for me.
