The most recent warranty repair to this truck occured on May 18th, 2009 at 73383 miles. From what I understand in the list of parts charged out for this repair, an ICP sensor and wiring pigtail was replaced, along with the main high pressure oil supply standpipe to the driver side bank of cylinders. This interesting thing is, it still has not had the STC fitting replaced with the one piece outlet yet. This repair took place at Champion Ford in Corpus Christi Texas.
At 47668 miles on July 2nd, 2007, the EGR valve was replaced at Sames Crow Ford Lincoln Mercury in Corpus Christi Texas. At 21361 miles on December 14th, 2005, the transmission was replaced due to loss of reverse gear and internal damage. This repair was done at Champion Ford. Those are the only noteworthy repairs on this truck so far. It has NOT had the EGR and oil coolers replaced yet, nor have the heads ever been removed, according to this report. |
