bucking

Can someone tell me why my trucks bucks when i first drive it in the morning. It only does it when i get to 45-50mph in overdrive. I hit the brake to kick it out of overdrive and it stops. When the trucks warms up, no problem.

It has always done this, bought the truck new. Dealer says not a problem.

As for that sounds like an injector spool valve sticking. Thats why you get that miss and some bucking when cold.

The transmission shifts fine and smoothly. The trucks runs fine when first start it. Has done this since new. Only does it when its cold and when it goes into overdrive 45-50 mph. Once warm, everything ok.

Is this something to do with the torque converter or trans being cold? Engine doesn't miss.

I agree on the injector issue. Try some Hot Shots secret or some Rev-X. Many, including Me, have had success with this "treatment" for the stiction issue that You are experiencing.

The trucks doesnt buck betwwen the speeds of 0-45. The truck runs like a champ. But once it goes into overdrive and the truck is cold is when it starts bucking, bouncing, like a tire out of balance fell. When the truck get warm, usually about 15min., no problems until the next morning. Who knows. Cold natured truck i suppose.

I would agree with the injector issue. I just went though two rounds of injector problems. When I would drive on the highway it felt like a tire was out of balance, but I chalked it up to the road being rough. Then the injector went. Second time I felt the same thing, the injector went. Before it goes completely, I would throw some Diesel Kleen, change to synthetic oil, and add Hot Shots Secret. This may prevent the injector from going.
