Hey guys, new to the site. I have an 02 7.3, getting ready to trade on an 04 6.0. I have heard that if I put it from the turbo back it will kill the power, since Ford changed the turbo in 04. I was told to either straight pipe it or go with the cat-back system. Can someone give me so info.
Keep on ROLLIN |

you wont loose any power with a cat back system, its the best route to take as far as exhaust goes, and my 04 runs like a raped ape with it dumped at the passenger door

You won't lose any power with a turbo back system. If you stick with a 3.5" dp it will go in without too much trouble. If you go with a 4" dp you will have to mod the firewall and its a tougher fit

I just did the 4" no cat offroad exhaust on my 04, and all I did was gain! The 4" downpipe was a tight fit, but it did go in and I didn't mod anything. My cat is the only place it should be - on the shelf. hehe Let me know if you have questions DJKS.
