03-04, 05-07, what's the diff?

I keep hearing that the 03-04 6.0's make more power(when tuned) than the 05 and up's? Anyone know what the difference between them is?

2006 F350 Lariat - 6.0, Torqshift, CC, shortbed, FX4 - 2" front leveling kit, 35x13.50's on 20's, MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust, ARP head studs, Elite Diesel "Sneaky" EGR delete pipe, Bulletproof Diesel EGR cooler, ZooDad mod, and an SCT X-CAL, Innovative Diesel tuned.
