pros & cons vs the early ( 9/29/03) and later 6.0L
hey guys, been a member here for a bit, just sold my 05 f-350 psd which i had some troubles with, before that had an 03 psd with the 6.0 had some troubles with it also!, my 05 had cold air intake edge juice with attitude and 4" straight exhaust, bought it with 128,000km then blew the egr cooler at 131,000, got an egr delete and put another 30,000 km on it with no issues minus batteries and alternator and the turbo started making noise, just sold it to a buddy whos throwing in a new turbo and injectors, my 03 had the banks big hoss kit egr delete and arp's, was an awesome truck picked it up with 205,000 km and drove it to 260,000 when the injectors started to and after i had to install a new transmission!
Im looking at an 04 (not yet sure which engine newer or later) with 110,000 km for a great price for what is alldone to it.
just trying to get some peoples insight and some of the probelms and pros and cons you have ran into
any help greatly appreciated!
