Gauges Installed
Well I finally got my gauges installed this weekend so I could have a baseline of my readings before the SCT gets here.
Max boost - 24psi Max EGTs - 1150* The truck is completely stock at this point - exhaust and zoodad to come when I have more time. When I removed the intake elbow to drill for the boost fitting, I found that I had no butterfly valve in the spacer. There wasn't even a bore for the shaft so less work for me.

how long did the job take you?

Too long.
I figure I should have been able to do it in 3-4 hrs, but it was more like 7 by the time I ran all the wire loom, pulled the intake elbow off, applied band-aids to my bloody knuckles (don't ask) and ran to the parts store twice for various electrical connectors that I thought I had.

Does anyone have a write up on installing the EGT sensor where you remove the manifold?

Yeah, it's on as soon as my Xcal2 shows up. Should be here in the next day or two.
Only problem is that it's snowing again so there won't be any major testing until things dry up again.:bonk:
