Trailer Fault warning on dash

So i was driving home yesterday when my dash cluster threw out a warning of " Trailer Fault ". Then it kept flickering between the warning and the odometer. Sounds like a wire shorting out. Anyone ran across this before. Thought I would aks around before I go play in the snow under the truck, its cold out there.

It happens to me a lot in my Fleet truck, the upfitters put 3 different trailer plugs on back of truck and when it rains I get the same issue, water in the plug usually where the wires connect
