Fuel Pumps

Is there more than one fuel pump on a 2004 6.0L? The Ford parts guy told me there were two, but was he counting the injector pump as one of them?

I really wish they would stop calling an injector pump. I guess TECHNICALLY it's an injector pump but it's not called that at all. Pretty sure there's just one fuel pump.

One fuel pump - part of the unit on the frame rail (HFCM).

The pressure for the fuel injection is generated from a high pressure oil pump (using the engine oil as a hydraulic fluid) and an intensifier piston in the injectors.
