Best Readily-Available (ie. non-mail-order) Cetane Boost/Additive?
I know "best" is controversial adjective, but is there a consensus on a readily-available fuel additive that can be used regularly? Sort of like Techron for gasoline engines? Yea, I'm a noob to these compression-ignition things...
LOL! TIA!

Just my opinion but i didnt like the powerservice crap at all. I normally use STP diesel in the blue bottle and have for some time ever fill up. I decided to use some of that powerservice stuff one day because i was in orileys and seen it. Well when i put it in i got pretty good mpg out of it but had horrible cold starts. The truck would shake for like 15-20 minutes and it would even shake a little after it had warmed up. I thought i had an injector going out. well after that take was empty i went back to my blue stuff because i can get it at the store beside my house and all my problems went away. I can go out in 15 degree weather and start my truck right up with no shaking or acting stupid lol. I have no idea why it did this to my truck. i added the right amount. (threw the rest away after i figured out that was the problem.)

I use wally world supertech tcw3 two stroke oil. It has made a my truck a lot quieter at idle (less clacking) and it starts better. It has been tested and is one of the best lubricants to use as a additive. I use 1oz to every gallon of fuel or 32oz per tank.

I'm not having any issues not using cetane. And from what I have learned it is not an issue. The issue with all huei psd engines is injector lubrication. That is why we use a additive. And two stroke oil is not snake oil. It is dino oil. And it preforms about 3x better than diesel kleen in lubrication.
