? for those of you with 05-07 harley grill

So i bought a used HD grill that is blue. I need to have it color matched white to my truck. The problem is that the shop my truck is at says that they cant take the billet part of the grill out with out breaking the tabs, and if they dont take it apart it makes it impossible for them to properly prep and paint the grill witch could lead to flaking and chipping down the road. So what should i do, tell them to try to take it apart w/o breaking the tabs, and if they do then i should maybe just get creative with some epoxy and fix it? Or have them paint it w/o removing it with the possibility of it chipping later?

Any advise would be great.

you could just ship it to me so i can put it on my truck lol. jk. is it stock billit tabs? if not, take it off and if it breaks then just pick up a new one cause they're fairly inexpensive

you can take it apart, just be SUPER SUPER SUPER CAREFUL!!!! it is possible though!

Ok i am going to go to the shop and take it apart myself. I guess if you want it done right you got to do it yourself.
