A few questions

1. My tranny is about to go I think, If I stand on it decently hard, it vibrates and in overdrive if it is cold, its slips/studders really bad! Or if I am in the interstate it slips sometimes in overdrive! How much am i looking at through like ford? I dont need no big built tranny I dont do any hauling or anything
2. Cold start the damn truck smokes like crazy....
3. When I let off the gas of the gas pedal the truck blows cold air but as soon as I hit the gas I have heat again...?

uhh almost sounds like injectors, might want to get it checked out first

which problem sounds like an injector? I think I do have a bad injector because sometimes the truck idles kind of funny but I didnt think it would make the truck hesitate in over drive unless you are talking about the smoking really bad on a cold start up........

Injector issuees can seem like trans issues . i would fix that first than ook at the trans again .

It would probably cost you the same to get a moderatly built trans as it would a stocker from ford.

1. If you think its your tranny you can try using the suncoast selniod upgrade seemed to help a few ppl out with there issue might just be a temp fix who knows.

2. Its gonna smoke when its cold, now if one of your injectors are bad it could be dumping fuel causing it to smoke more what color is the smoke ?

3. As for your idle thats kinda funny, it could be your ICP sensor ? Do you have the updated pigtail style plug ? If not then it might have oil in it causing an idle issue.

4. Injector issue ? does it tend to go away when it warms up ? Does it feel like a miss ? a cheap way to test if you have an injector issue or cylinder issue, Get yourself a temp gun and check each cylinder right on the exhaust manifold close to the block. I believe the temps should be around 185 and above.

I noticed on mine when i was having injector issues most were reading 185 and above and the one that was down was like 155 etc. Just a thought give it a try.

Ill look into those solonoids...updated plug, not sure on that! Where is the ICP sensor located? I will most definatly get a heat gun and give that a try! Thanks foer that tip! I lvoe learning those little tricks! I was also maybe thinking about getting a reflash, I see alot of people talking about reflasing the pcm with updated software? Does this help!?

well the injectors will make the truck vibrate, and studder when in overdrive stepping on it, and with it smoking more then likely an injector or 2.
