Question Where to start with performance upgrade 6.0

I have a stock 2006 F-350 dual rear wheel 4X4 crew cab with auto with a 6.0.....where should I start with performance up-grades. I don't want to go overboard....but would like to get some advanced horsepower for everyday driving. where should I start....I would like to add an Edge Juice...what do I need to install before that. Any feedback would be helpful...

Also, how do you get a l little more sing out of the turdo?

I would go gauges, exhaust and then a custom tuned SCT in that order. I would not recommend the Edge.

The list gets a lot more in depth if you want to do more than just a tuner.

id do guages, your stock intake flows enough air for about 500 hp...as for tuning...stay away from edge, it doesnt tune your transmission and will hurt it...get an SCT tuner with CUSTOM tunes...there are vendors that sell the tuners on here and the tuning you have a few choices..Eric @ Innovative, Matt @ Gearhead, Cale @ BTS...i think a few others im forgetting

Forget about the edge. It is a waste of money in my opinion. Go with Eric at innovative. I run his tunes and I am extremely happy with them.

I would go in this order: 1. Gauges 2. Exhaust 3. SCT

The list can go on and on for different set-ups, but the set-up mentioned above will provide you with better performace and give you that nice 6L sound!

Good deal. I just saw where you edited your first post asking about some more turbo sounds. A straight piped exhaust and a cold air intake will for sure make it louder.

The exhaust….should that be 4” or 5” and is that what I hear some trucks running to make the turbo sing? Do you need to change the air induct to make the turbo louder. Also what kind of horsepower gain do you get with the SCT…
