can i add keyless entry?
got a pretty standard f-250 and i'd like to add auto door locks and im thinking of an autostarter as well and i should do both at same time. is it just as simple as an aftermarket electric solenoid? or would finding junkyard original equipment be easier cuz i could use original mounting set-up . don't need the buttons on the panel i will just use the remote

Not sure if it works on all cars- my sister has a 2006 Freestyle. She lost her remote key pad, and wanted to add a number pad on the door. She bought a kit from the dealer, that included a new remote key pad, and a stick on number pad for the door. Not sure if this pertains to all vehicles, or only vehicles that came with remote key pads from the factory. Call your parts dept, worth a shot.

you could probably get one through autoloc or some place like that but as for one from the factory im not sure how easy that would be. probably lots of wiring

I had my 06 XLT, same as yours no key fob. I asked the dealer after I bought it about adding it. It was some ridiculous amount of money. They had to add some computer module if I remember right and when I heard the price I told them to forget it. I would check out after market. Good luck.
