fuel additive?

for those who are running 2-stroke oil in the fuel what is the mix ratio you are using for full tank of fuel, and are you using standard 2-stroke oil or synthetic 2-stroke oil. also what brands

when i had my LBZ Duramax, i just went to wal mart and bought a cheapy 6 oz bottle! 6oz bottle of 2 stroke to 26 gallons is what i ran! i dont think synthetic or non synthetic really matters! all i went for is what was cheapest!

From what I have gathered doing searches on the subject, just make sure it is ashless and add 1 oz. per gallon of fuel.

And most people run the cheap stuff from Walmart!

Ok I know this will come across crazy....but new diesel owner here....why would one run 2 stroke oil in the fuel on a diesel....???

Why run 2 stroke in the fuel of a 6.0
I run stanadyne performance formula 8 oz. to 30 gals takes care of everything and pick up couple mpg.

from what i understand it adds back the lubrication that is stripped from the fuel when it is made into ulsd.

yup. proven to somewhat. Im trying a bottle of diesel kleen the next tank, gotta see if i get any MPG's!

so diesel is going through the same crap that gas did when they stripped the lead from it.
