I need to purchase an extended warranty, however my truck is over the 100,000 mile mark so I can't get the Ford ESP. Does anyone have any expereience with thrird party warranties for diesels. I appreciate the help.

I heard terrible things about 3rd party warranties. To fix diesel trucks is a lot of money and I think these warranty people screw a lot of people.

every 3rd party warranty i have ever seen is a rip. If you dont believe me just go to ripoffreport.com and do some searching on companies like us fidelis and other 3 party warranties. Have fun reading the horror stories lol

be better off just making another bank account and calling it 3rd party warranty then just act like your paying the warranty company every month but instead put it in the account lol.

I appreciate the input, it sounds like a bunch of people have had bad experiences with third party warranties. It just really sucks that I can't purchase a Ford ESP since I'm just over the 100,000 mile mark. I hope I don't ever need to use the warranty but it sure is a nice peice of mind.

The dealership i work at sells the (zurich ? ) warranty , i know they have been really good at paying diesel claims .they write for vehicles over 100000. if you have a problem they work with you .
