Tuned 6.0L cold starts

Do tuners actually make the engine start harder or why does it seem so many "cold start" videos with "tuners" are posted on google videos and such? OR should i ask, does a tuner help or hurt a cold start?

They tend to be a little rough compared to stock, especially a performance or race tune. Some tuners make their tunes with an optional "cold fix" which helps I guess. I dont have any tunes with them though. Ive been running a less aggressive tune in the cold weather because of it.
