instruments went out when?

ok i have an 03 6.0 but out of no where today i wnet to go put my truck in drive and the instruments all went out the lights still work but th nedles them selfs stoped working!!!! any one ever have this happen if so how did u fix ?

check fuse 46 its a 10 amp fuse in the bottom right corner. if its blew then you will have to take off the cover of the steering column and look at the base of the shift lever there is a black wire i belive its black there should be a worn spot in it that shorts out when you put it in gear. for a simple fix use electrical tape and replace the fuse

ya I have replaced that fuse befor and then it will work for a little untill it piped again so I replaced it another time and the instruments did not come back on and the fuse is fine it dis not pop so I'm like what the hell and the wires looked fine but I will check them out again
