Tranny Service
New to the forum and would like to start off by saying thanks to all the folks that give good info on here to guys like me that dont have much experience working on these trucks. Big help! I have changed every filter on my 6.0 except the transmission, just wondering if it is as easy as seems. Had it flushed and service @ 89K and now has 115K should be fine just doing a filter change right? Appreciate any advice.

Just pick up a FT-145 (approx $26) looks like small roll of TP. Remove the exterior inline filter canister and replace it. Keep in mind a few ounces of tranny fluid will be in there so be careful and have something ready to catch the fluid. Don't just drop the filter housing cup...take it down slowly...you'll want to note the orientation of the spring mounting plate at the bottom....also inspect the magnet for metals particles. Try to prime it a little with a few ounces of clean SP.
