Slicks???

Well I have a 2wd truck and I cannot luanch and leave like I could in my old 4x4 7.3, does anybody make slicks that would fit my 17" wheels, and also if I had a good set of slicks would I be able to build my boost up and launch like I used to in my 4wd. The only time I took my truck to our local 1/8 th mile track I was running a 9.5 and that was feathering it leaving so it wouldn't spin, if I tried to launch it would spin till I let off of it.

I have the same problem, specially since my SCT has been on the truck. Its quite frustrating trying to get all that power down asap. Let me know if you find anything out!
