Hey everyone just blocked off a egr cooler by welding plugs in on both ends
What do you guys think. It will start boosting around 3000 rpm. But boy what a difference it is already.

Did you forget to plug in the VGT actuator plug? That's what they do when they're not connected.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but what size freeze plugs fit the cooler in each end? Getting ready to do this myself and it would be nice to have these ahead of time. Thanks, Drew

well sense my dad owns a machining company i just had him whip me up a couple sense they were for his truck
. Unfortantly no pics i thought about it half way putting it back together sorry guys This truck is wierd, i've never had it do a relearn like mine, but everything is well now. Had to drive it 15 or so miles and once again she runs like a champ. With doing everything at once I never thought i was going to be done. . One thing I did learn is when setting the intake on make sure you have your up-pipes loose, have your EGR cooler already connected to your intake just dont have the bolts tightened up, and i would set the intake in, then put the intake gaskets on. Just pick a up on the intake a little and slide the gaskets in. OH YA one more thing make sure you take a scratch awl. Mark where the studed bolts are on your intake. and the right rear most bolt must be set in the intake before you manuever the intake or you can't get the bolt in because of the downpipe is in the way.
