"Jakebrake" Tune Q's

Hey Everyone,
I have the option with my SCT tuner to use the "jakebrake" option with a tune, which closes the turbo vanes when the accelerator is in the "off" position and it creates back pressure and acts like an exhaust brake... Well my problem is that the tune that has that option also has the "Converter Lockup" option engaged, which doesn't work well if you're using the "Tow/Haul" button for the transmission, the two fight.... but if it's not on then there is no downshifting when you're slowing down, and there is a big gap between gears 6 & 3, it would be nice to have it downshift automatically like the "tow/haul" button does.

I am wondering if anyone knows how to wire into the VGT so you can turn a switch on that will engage the turbo vanes to full-close when the accelerator is in the off position, therefore giving you back pressure and the exhaust brake effect..... I'm thinking there isn't a way because the engine computer controls the vanes, and that is a coding thing that is changed when the tune is loaded (not just a simple power-on or power-off type of thing). But I'm hoping there's a way, where I can run any tune (or not), and flip that switch and have the turbo vanes close up to give me that back-pressure.

Thanks for your knowledge & input!!
