Water in Fuel???? help

was driving today and on the info thing it made the low fuel noise but it said WATER IN FUEL..... y is that and what should i do ??? can i drive the truck? thanks alot guys !!!

Drain the water seperator on the frame rail under where the driver sits.

yup... insert a 6mm hex into the brass drain plug on the fuel filter/ separator unit. remove it and let it drain for aprox. 25 seconds.

Once you've done that cycle the ignition (without starting) to get the fuel pump to purge any air out. - Bob's you're uncle and Fany's your aunt YOUR GOOD TO GO

Not a big deal... Ford says you can drive it but only for a short distance. Probably best to drain it.

Also you'll need to cycle the key on engine off at least three times to purge air from the fuel line/rail/filter bowl. Wait approx 30 seconds between KOEO cycles. When was the last time you changed the (2) filters? If, you don't know...then I'd change them asap.

changed them about a thousand miles ago..........
