Easiest stock-looking EGT & Boost gauges
Ok, I'm new to all this. I have an '04 King Ranch. It doesnt have a boost or EGT gauge. What's the easiest way to install these so it looks stock? And does the truck have spots to tap into for these gauges? Or is it going to require drilling, etc...
TIA

the egt will have to be drilled, the boost can either be tapped in to the intake elbow, spliced into the map line, and some guages are wired into the map sensor wires

Ok, any suggestions on gauges? I want stock looking ones. And the type that go up the pillar wont work, the king ranch has a huge leather wrapped handle right there. Any other options?

I had the handle's too, not the nice KR leather handle though. They are easily removed by two bolts. Check out my garage to see mine. You have other options with gauges though, there many different guage clusters: Roof mount, dash mount, main dash guage overlay, and the ever popular pillar guage clusters...

There is a single pillar pad that is made to fit under the handle... Unfortunately I haven't found a two in one gauge for say, EGT and boost.... My '06 has a "kinda sorta" boost gauge that's actually good enough for my purposes... Hence the reason I was looking for a single pillar pod and an EGT gauge... Found that, now all I have to do is decide whether I want to do it or not...

![]() The one that wraps around the steering column is popular. |
