EGR Valve and Boost Pressure
Anyone know why this is?
My truck’s max boost is about 25-28 on the stock gauge. If I disconnect my EGR wire I can only hit about 22 max, I even plugged in a 2nd dummy EGR valve and the max boost is still about 22? Any thoughts? Thanks

|
You need to make sure the valve is closed before you unplug it. It the EGR is open when you unplug it, the valve will stay open.
