you talking about spooling time or lag in general? I think my 06 has a lot of lag, but what do i know, its my first turbo diesel and first turbo anything ive owned. My buddy has a 2000 Grand Prix GTP converted from a supercharged/stock to a intercooled turbo kit, does 11.98s, and i think from a stop or low speeds, its lag is pretty bad. My 99 GTP is still supercharged, also runs 11.9s and will break the tires loose off the line with half throttle in a split second, his you can mash the gas then by 15-20mph it breaks em loose, it has that much less power until the boost comes on.

Do the tuners like sct/edge/bullydog reduce the lag? my 06 off the line, seems that not towing anything, i can stomp on it and literally nothing happens until ~20mph or more, then you feel the truck "shake" vibrate like the powers being transfered from the front to the back and your off, but there is a big delay in torque and hp.
