fx4 or 4x4??????

i know that this isnt just on 6.0 but what is the differance between a 4x4 and the fx4? i know the fx4 has rancho shocks but that is the only thing i can tell. is there more than that?

Yeah the only difference is the skid plates, and shocks. Oh and a pretty little sticker

I have the FX4 on my 2006 build, 2007 model to you.... F-350, CC, 4x4, LWB, Dually.....

And they are Rancho Shocks, and Skid Plates, but the VALUE IS THE COOL STICKER ON THE DUALLY FENDERS.....

Hey, mine came that way, and they are rare as rocking horse poo here in Oz...

The official write-up on the ford site when I bought my truck said Ranhcho "branded" shocks.

which skid plates does it come with? does the one covering the gas tank come on every 4x4.. because if it only comes on the fx4 it saved my butt when i bent my driveshaft lol
