Loud "Clunk" Noise from front end???

So about once a trip I get a loud clunk noise from the front end. I cant feel it in the brake or gas peddle but in the cab. It feels just like I have a heavy object in the bed that broke loose and slammed into the cab....

I think its suppension not drivetrain but...

Other possible issue is it could be 4x4 "trying" to engage???

I am at a total lose, anyone know if issues or have something familiar happen?

Thanks

2006 CC PS SB auto, with 108K miles,

See if your sway bar bushings are in the right place. They can pop out if the suspension is flexed to far.

How would I tell if they are out of place?

They are D shaped bushings that are in the bracket that hold the sway bar in place.
