2006 F350 Warrenty

Does the 5 year 100K cover the entire drivetrain or just the diesel motor?

If you bought your 2006 truck AFTER July 14th, 2006, then you have the complimentary PowerTrain warranty - IN ADDITION to the 5yr 100k engine warrranty (all 07's came w/ this extra coverage).

The complimentary PowerTrain warranty is 5 yrs/ 60k miles. My experience is that many (maybe most) shops have to be told to look up this complimentary warranty on the OASIS report. They will state you do not have that coverage unless you prove it to them that you do.

Otherwise, it is ONLY the engine warranty past 3 yrs and 36k miles.

Powertrain coverage does not show up on OASIS anymore, unless you are looking at part coverage.

It used to say "5 YEAR 60k/100km POWERTRAIN WARRANTY" but it doesn't anymore, for some reason.

Doesn't mean the truck don't have it, I just usually do a part coverage on basic part number 7000, and that will give you the info if it hsa powertrain or not.

7000 is an automatic transmission assembly, for those wondering.

Thanks for the info! I had my OASIS printed after owning the truck a few months so I always have proof of the complimentary warranty.

If anyone is denied this warranty (on a 2006 vehicle purchased after July 14, 2006), You can contact me and I can send you info that states you have the "complimentary" coverage.
