FI and DI PSD?

Looking at some 2006 F250's and some of the engines say V8 FI Diesel and some say DI, what is the difference?

They're both. It just means fuel injected and direct injected. All passenger truck diesels made in the last 15 years or so are generally directly fuel injected. It just means the fuel is injected directly into the cylinders under pressure.
