Ladder bars

I want to build ladder bars for my truck. I have a idea of what needs to be done. Just not sure how long to make them. I'm sure length effects something because I see many different lengths. I also was told to keep the same angle as driveshaft is this correct.......Thanks in advance Terry

Try going onto vendors sites and look and see how long they are making them, im also considering making a set. Ive seen some reaaaaaallllly long ones and some that looked like they were 24" long.....

im making a set of trac bars but my length will be from the middle of my rear door to the axle like 75 inchs i think
