Does anyone have an easy fix to get the fog lites to stay on when you turn on the high beams? I can't seem to understand why they (FORD) would have them turn off. If you need to turn on your high beams to see better I would think that having the fogs on would help that much more.

The eyes tend to focus on the brightest area. When the high beams are on, the beam concentration is far away, allowing one to see further. When the low beams are on, eyes focus much closer. The fog lamp beam pattern is very near to the vehicle. Running both high beam and fog lights will net the overall distance focus of running low beam, but much brighter.
That is why fog lights come on with the low beams and not high beams. |
