coolant filter question
Why use the high side hose and dump into the degas bottle hose. Why not just install it inline with one of the heater core lines?

The reasoning is to have it as a bypass, so when it plugs up with debris it is not clogging your main hoses.

Just get on a vendor website and have a look at the one with their kit, it would be easy to fab one up

Dieselsite's kit is probably the most common.

I'm in the process of making a bracket, not a big deal. So which hose do I T off offor the input? The two directions I've read off the internet are vague. Is it the hose that has a fitting for what I assume is pressure testing?

for us guys with 94-95 powerstrokes, our only option is pretty much using them with the heater hoses, however instead of being inline, you put them between the hot and cold side, the resistance from the filter should still alow hot fluid to go to your heater core while only a little bit will pass through the filter and cycle back towards block, its what all the idi guys are doing since they didnt put a degas bottle till late 95-96
