2005 Warning Lights / Service Lights

[Ride Everything]

I'm going to look at a 2005 F250 6.0L on Wednesday morning. The original owner said the check engine light came on around 70,000 miles (about 1,000 ago). Is this for a normal service or should I be concerned? I know zilch about diesel mechanics so I wouldn't even know what to look for

Any suggestions?

get a programmer on it and look at the computer see if any codes come up any dealer can do it for you some may be asses about it though... that would be the 1st place 2 start at
