Price for Diesel Care Extended Warranty Plan

My 2005 Powerstroke is just about to come out of the powertrain warranty. On the Ford web site I see where I can buy the extended warranty plan that covers the motor out to 7 years/200,000 as long as I buy it before my 5 year/100,000 is up. Does anybody have this and how much did your Ford dealer charge for it? Is it worth it to get this? Haven't had a head gasket or EGR cooler issue yet. Turbo did get replaced at 80K.

I got mine from Sam Pack's 5 Star Ford in Carrollton, Texas. I called the service department and talked to them. I payed $1370 for mine AND I had 103,xxx miles on my truck. Gave them info and credit card number over the phone, and had to fax him proof of mileage(oil change receipt with miles on it). After a few days, I got the warranty packet in the mail!

I want to get one of these as well when the time comes. Right now I only have 48k so i have some time for sure, i bought the truck in oct of 06 so late 2011 my 5 year will be up. I just heard that they are really strict when it comes to after market stuff with the extended warranties since they are not actually ford warranties, from what i was told. I already have a 4" TB and its lifted so i dont know if I would be out of warranty already . Hopefully someone can chime in who knows a bit more.

If you do not have one set yourself up with Ford owner connection. I bought my bumper to bumper from there and saved hundreds over what my dealer was quoting.

Do you know what there policy on after market stuff is? How much if you dont mind posting it?

I guess it will vary by dealer as it is a Ford ESP warranty.

I paid 825.00. 100.00 deductable

I am good until 2014 or 75K. I needed years not miles. On a daily basis I do not drive but about 15-20 miles

What is Ford owner connection? I did a google search and couldn't find what you are talking about. Got a link to them?

Was this the FORD ESP 7/200 warranty? When did you get it? Do you have a contact you talked to? I'm very interested.
