? rust & grime in fuel filters

Thanks to you guys I changed my own fuel filters. Is it normal for the filters to have rust in them. Also the valve screw was rust on the end. The guy I purchased from put a power Core air filter is that any good?

Motorcraft fuel filters are the way to go. And it's not normal to have rust in them. As for an air filter, I use either a Motorcraft or a good drop in like AFE...

u think its excessive water? im going to add a additive today. this truck has had several egr coolers and valve replacements. What do you think my next step should be?
