Don't know if I should chip my '04 F-350 Super Duty 6.0L or not? Help?
Should I chip my '04 F-350 Super Duty 6.0L? It's an automatic transmission. I've been reading and talking to a lot of people, but I just don't know. I've heard the turbo won't be able to take the power of a chip. Then again I've heard that it'd be ok. So I just figured I'd ask somebody here who knew a little more and might be able to help me out. By the way the chip I would get would be an Edge Juice W/ Attitude (Platinum). They say it's designed for the 6.0 but I don't know, or are there any other suggestions?

It's my feeling that edge is hard on trannies........ there in my opinion, are better products for your truck. get some gauges and an exhaust, and a tuner. get with Raul at Stealth and he'll get you going. Look in the sponsors section under forums.

I have an Aem Brute Force Intake on my truck. The Edge chip that I was thinking about getting comes with a monitor, so that will be out of the way. Since the 6.0 is a smaller engine I didn't know if it could take the power of a chip or not though. That's why I'm worried about chipping it.

I would do the SCT. The edge is hard on your tranny. you can buy the SCT online or go to your nearest 4x4 shop or diesel shop.
