My friend gave me an idea today but was wondering if anyone has tryedd this or what ya'll think. It was to paint the black honeycomb part of the grille red to match the truck. What do ya'll think good idea or not?

I've seen old Pontiac Grand Am's that had this and I think it looked cheesy but that was on that car and of course I'm sure the guy who did it thought it looked awesome. My $.02.

i'd think cheeze too.
black would work tho, or, getting the whole thing re-chromed so it's all chrome like. |

put a piece of red posterboard there to see if you like the look. if you do, go nuts, if you dont, you saved yourself a buttload of time.

i say leave it black.. painting it red would not look right.. too much red going on in the front...

Leave is the way it is or get a billet insert. Please don't paint it.

The red and crome trim just doesn't add up. The idea of a chrome billet add-on sounds better. And if you paint it everything that sticks to it while driving at night will just mess it up. Good Luck
