question

hey everyone i just have a quick question i have an 03 f350 6.0 and i straight piped it from the turbo back i noticed at idle or in park if i leave the truck running it makes two different sounds it sounds like the turbo starts spooling faster then it will stop and a lil later it will start over again truck drives great though and gets 23 mpg highway @ 70

EGR I believe, nothing to worry about.

The PCM cycles the turbo veins at idle to help prevent them from sticking.

Had same experience when I did CAT delete. Soon after EGR valve "failed" EGR delete kit and all problems gone.
