Warranty about gone
I've got 99,700 miles on my excursion. Should I pay the diagnostic fee to have the motor checked. It runs great. I know injectors are pricey, Thats what I'm worried will die as soon as the warranty is up.

Why not consider the extended 200k warranty plan?

How much is that extended? Mine ends sept 2010 and I only got 50k on my truck.

I think close to 2K or more...

I just bought one for my '06 with 91k. Was right at 2k. My truck has never had any engine work done, but if the HGs go it'll be worth it

I've got a livewire on it. How will that affect the extended warranty

I bought ESP back in August for $1750. Takes me up to 7 yrs from date it was placed in service(May 06) or 200K, whichever comes first. I am about to get my money out of it as I am waiting on a new turbo to come in so it can be installed. Already have an EGR valve installed under the ESP, but that was pocket change compared to the turbo. You should be able to get an ESP for around the same price I did. I know you can get them online through dealerships, also.
