I've noticed very little if any mpg gain with 2stroke oil. It runs smoother and idles quieter. I call bs on a 1000 miles per tank unless he is counting wrecker miles towing it in to the shop or he has a hella large tank. 30+ mpg is a stretch not that it can't be done but that is a really big stretch. There is old saying men like about the size of their d__k and gas milage.

If I remember right it was marvel mystery that was really bad. There is a Thread containing a breakdown of each fuel additive and that was near the bottom.

I ran a 70/30 mix of used ATF in my truck..and my partner ran straight used ATF in his truck for over a year with no problems at all..both 6.0's(his truck dynoed 434 on atf too)...nothing outlandish in his statement(unless you are ill informed) We also have an old IDI that runs nothing but ATF for over 2 years now.

its just ATF in a fancy bottle, i run either that or PS. i usually run the marvels if i run o/r fuel to justify the fuel being red

There was a study done not too long ago. marvel mystery oil was the absolute worst thing you could put in your fuel. It actually made the lube properties of the fuel 2 times worse that it was before you dumped it in.

Oh and no Marvels is not ATF in a fancy bottle. Its a completely different thing

So I have learned that you can run straight ATF. Why would you do that when its about $10-12 a gallon and diesel is $2.80-3?

What am I missing here?
