jm812003 two stroke is a much better choice for what you suggested. ATF is not a true lubricant. The ratio is roughly 1 oz per gallon. 1 quart per 29 gallon tank is close enough

I understand 2 stroke oil because its meant to be burned with fuel in a 2 stroke engine. But ATF ?? not sure i understand??

Some people have access to free, used ATF. Since a diesel will burn it, they like to use it to cut fuel costs. Really bad for the environment and not so great for your injectors.

There was an article in DP of a guy running strait atf in a X I think. Had a decent amount of miles on it too. I would never do it though.

well when you shove it into a cylender at about 1200 deg f. with 25lbs of boost and you smash the sh!t outa it with 18>1 compression anything burns

Lol.

Friend of mine used to run used ATF, used motor oil and used parts washer fluid in his izuzu pup.

He got all of it for free from the shop he worked at.
Ran like a champ. Hell of a bad smell though.
