6.4L drop in 6.0

Who has done this and what would be involved? Would a new transmission be needed?

More electronic work you could imagine. It would be easier and probably cheaper to swap a 24v

There is a guy in my neighborhood with a white late '03 6.0 powerstroke, with nearly 300,000 miles and he loves the truck and its paid off...he is considering buying a 6.4 diesel motor and dropping it in....We got a quote from a Ford dealer in Austin, TX: $14,000 just for the motor and wiring harness... But he plans on going ahead with the project...Ill try to keep you guys posted if it happens

probably most of the interior work will have to be changed around such as IP and BCM and stuff like that
