2nd Fuel Filter Leak

Hello All,

I have a 6.0L PSD. I have found a fuel leak in the cap of the secondary f/f. The cap has 2 small (engineered) holes on the oposite sides of each other in the threads. One side has a notch above the hole (above the O-Ring) where the cap meets the metal when seated. The O-ring is brand new. When the fuel pump turns on I have a straight stream of fuel comming from the notch.

Anyone seen this before? If so what is you advise.

Thanks.

tight enough?

I believe the holes are below the o-ring and if the o-ring is in correctly and the cap is all the way down, the holes aren't exposed. The last few turns of the cap seat the o-ring, I believe, and it does get a little bit harder to turn just at the end. DON"T over tighten as I had to destroy my cap to get it off after being over-tightened by a dealership.
